The London-based online platform and personalisation service Paperboy announced a new project a few days ago. Must Be Nice is the name of the iniziative that involves 19 international artists to raise funds to stop Asian violence and hatred.
The project consists of a collection of illustrated prints celebrating Asian culture in all its forms, from food and animals to traditional crafts. Involved artists are Aga Giecko, Amy Phung, Arose Garden, Celine Ka Wing Lau, Christina Tan, Darcy Olley, Debbie Tea, Kimberly Morris, Jessie Wong, Lena Yokoyama, Marie Larica, Marina Ayashiro, Melissa Mathieson, Subin Yang, Vivienne Shao, Wendy Wong, Yee Poon and Yuk Fun.
“The goal was to create a platform that supported established, young and aspiring illustration talent from a truly diverse range of backgrounds, with a focus on representing, humanising and telling the stories of ESEA and minorities by putting the artists front and centre of everything we do.”
