Saint Laurent presented the Fall/Winter 2021 men’s collection with a video that focuses everything on the joyful and playful power of dance, all under the artistic direction of Anthony Vaccarello, Creative Director of YSL.

The video was directed by French illustrator and director Jean Paul Goude and features the models/dancers dancing to the notes of James Brown’s 1961 Night Train.

The cheerfulness you feel while watching the video is extremely engaging and although the sound harks back to the 60’s, the collection has the 80’s as its inspiration.

Primary colors dominate this FW21 by Saint Laurent, sweaters for example are characterized by checkered patterns and stripes, both horizontal and vertical, very colorful thanks to yellow, red, black and blue. These same strong colors are repeated on the shirts while the pants respect the elegance and tailoring typical of the French fashion house. There is no lack of accessories and shoes, the latter are embellished with details inspired by the music scene and street dance of New York in the ’80s.
