Ihor Ustynskyy is a photographer who lives and works in the Ukrainian city of Lviv and who has focused his artistic research on the genre of portraiture. In his Instagram feed, poetic images of beautiful women follow one another, with very different personalities, but always revealing themselves to be feminine and sensual.

We move from soft poses and atmospheres, to dreamlike and travel images, to arrive at intriguing and brazen photographs of artistic nudity. Ultimately, it is as if it represented the classic transition from adolescence to maturity, from innocent girls to women who have no problem exhibiting the attributes of their femininity.

This passage is not brutal, but takes place in an almost “soft” way, in which allusion, provocation, and innocence become one: the image.

The one presented in Alba Yruela‘s shots is a world in which we would like to live. The Spanish photographer born in La Bisbal d’Empordà, who now lives between Barcelona and London, manages to delicately capture sensual and intimate details, which is why, during her career, she has collected collaborations with magazines such as Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Wonderland, Madame Figaro, Editorial Magazine and S magazine, as well as fascinated international audiences with exhibitions hosted in different cities around the world, from Vienna to Paris, from Los Angeles to London. 

Through her photographs, Alba Yruela accompanies us in the discovery of the world around her, made of friendships, love, intimate moments and sharing. They are stolen moments, those moments that because of the frenetic rhythm of our lives we are unable to capture. 
The protagonist of Alba Yruela’s shots is the warm and delicate light that envelops the bodies photographed, but also the interiors of the rooms and landscapes, creating a common thread that runs through all her work.

It was 2009 when Li Hui received her first camera. Since then she has begun to experiment, being carried away by her emotions, her instinct and her desire to try new things. Today Li Hui and her analogue shots are appreciated worldwide and her aesthetic inspires new aspiring photographers every day. 

Each of her works reflects a style that is not preset or studied, one of the fundamental aspects that have created her unmistakable cut over time is the spontaneity, both with which she shoots and with which she approaches his subjects. 

To express herself, Li Hui relies on people taken in their intimacy, in those moments when they are not seen by anyone and can finally express themselves freely and be true. But, unlike others who try to represent passion through intimate scenes, Li Hui is more focused on body movements and what they are able to communicate without the need for words. What makes it all more delicate and almost surreal is the choice to never show people’s faces, ending up many times concentrating only on certain parts of the body such as legs, eyes or hands. 

Finally, admiring the shots of the Chinese photographer, you can see a pure love for light and games that she is able to create, becoming herself one of the undisputed protagonists of Li Hui’s artistic research.
