Stefano Colferai’s animations show a better future

The world seen as a huge puzzle to which each of us is called to contribute with a box and that only once completed will show its beauty. This is how the plasticine artist Stefano Colferai has interpreted the concept of “Valore condiviso” (“Shared Value”), that feeling of union at the base of every change aimed at creating the world we dream of.

Stefano Colferai is the second artist involved by Enel Italia for “Parole Nuove per una Nuova Energia” (“New Words for a New Energy”), a project born with the aim of building a better energy future starting from the basics, that is, from the fundamental words we need to know and their meanings.

Enel Italia has involved several artists, called upon to interpret some of these concepts through their art.

In addition to “Valore condiviso”, Stefano Colferai had the arduous task of giving form to “Ripartenza” (“Restart”) and “Finanza sostenibile” (”Sustainable Finance”). Moulding plasticine to his liking and then animating it through the technique of stop motion, the artist managed to use the universal language of images to convey the meanings of these words.

Enel Italia reminds us that a better future is possible, we just need to be willing to learn about new forms and new uses of energy and if this can be done through art there are really no more excuses to put it off.
