“All my obsessions started with photography,” said Shuhua Xiong better known as Liz recently.
Shuhua’s artistic journey began in Shanghai, his hometown, when he began using his father’s old camera, the Minolta X-700.
Gradually, her passion grows from photo to photo, but finding someone in the Chinese city to develop her negatives was neither easy nor immediate.

During his studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York, his passion completely explodes, managing to fully understand his illustration practice and technique.

Shuhua Xiong thanks to the skillful use of the airbrush, an indulgent tool that allows her to draw what you feel instead of what you see, gives her works a unique lightness, dictated by warm and soft colors.
