The artist Arthur-Louis Ignoré, better known as Ali, found his vocation in decorating the urban landscape with his works of art. Ali has always been interested in the evolution of ornaments through the history of art and the role it occupies in our civilizations.

In fact, his painted carpets cover sidewalks, streets, and walls of the city. His drawings in black or white with geometric or botanical-inspired patterns create a contrast with the aesthetics of the modern city.

Today the artist lives in Rennes in France, where he created his biggest work, a 10,000 square foot mandala painted on the roof of the Social Welfare Family Allowance.
