After the collection dedicated to Doraemon and its 50th anniversary, Uniqlo presented a new UT capsule collection dedicated to the world of manga.
The collection for Summer 2020 consists of 8 T-shirts, each characterized by a graphic dedicated to a sports manga (spokon) like Captain Tsubasa, Ashita No Joe and Ping Pong.
One of the most famous and internationally successful manga is for sure Captain Tsubasa is the absolute protagonist of this capsule.
On one tee is depicted the famous twin shot of Tsubasa Ozora and Taro Misaki, on another the “skylab huuricane” of the twins Kazuo and Masao Tachibana, Hyūga Kojirō is depicted doing his “tiger shot” with the feline at his side and finally the last T-shirt dedicated to the manga created by Yōichi Takahashi in 1981, is a tribute to goalkeeper Wakabayashi Genzō with the acronym SGGK (Super Great Goal Keeper).
The other spokon manga object of the capsule are Ahista No Joe (Rocky Joe) with boxers Joe Yabuki and Toru Rikiishi and Ping Pong with the Katase High School team.
The capsule collection for Summer 2020 dedicated to Captain Tsubasa, Ashita No Joe and Ping Pong will be available online and in Uniqlo stores.
