Take a pot, put in R&B, soul-jazz and everything nice.
These are the ingredients chosen to create “FUTURO3”, the new EP by Missey (born Francesca Sevi) available from today January 21 on all digital platforms.
After a series of singles and the EP “Prima parte del celeste” (published in 2020), the new record of the artist of Apulian origin is released. At first it feels immediately dense, well-structured and wide-ranging sound. It is tangible the desire to range between musical genres, experimenting with different sounds that, thanks to the producers OMAKE, RGB prisma, Daykoda and Dario Bass, are able to join perfectly to the delicate but strong voice of Missey. In this way, the 7 tracks that make up “FUTURO3” all become part of a single journey, consistent and unique in its kind.

To capture our ear immediately is undoubtedly the focus track “Destyni (ft. 999asura)”, a perfect symbol of the need to escape from an oppressive and tired reality due to the inability to communicate with those in front of you.
“FUTURO3 was born at a time when the reality that surrounded me gave me the idea of being more gray and predictable. Then I realized how much that this view was also influenced by a wrong consideration I had of myself. Living the birth of this EP as a journey was the reason why I and the musicians I collaborated with wanted to combine elements of different sounds and stories without put us into a genre. The only common thread that conveyed our influences and this Selecta was the uniqueness of these artistic personalities. An unconstructed spontaneity in lyrics that have universal potential and a perceptible push towards experimentation and hybridization of worlds, common to the most recent songs as well as the classics, in favor of beautiful music.”
Wanting to go deeper into this artistic maturity and intrigued by her musical background, Collater.al asked Missey to create an exclusive playlist to learn even more about her roots. So don’t waste any more time and run over to listen to our Vinilica.
