Vinilica vol.68 – Sealow

Emanuele D'Angelo

For medical use only“, Onde is a concept album with tracks written in the last two years, until the last lockdown.
Today we talk about Sealow, at the registry office of Simone Patti, born in Rome, and it is in the fertile, independent and antagonistic environment of the capital that he will find, years later, the necessary input to undertake a musical journey.

The Roman artist, strongly influenced by the Afrobeat movement, proposes these sounds in his own personal key: he tends to play a lot on images, with an almost songwriting vein, but in the terms of a not yet 30 years old.

On September 25th his first album “Onde” was released for Macrobeats and distributed by Artist First.
With these eleven songs he tries to represent a different emotion, since it is always the emotions that dictate the law. And for the artist it is fundamental to search for them both when we create music and when we just listen to it, only in this way we can create a bridge.

As always exclusively for Collater.al Mag, Sealow has created a playlist with all his influences, the darkest secrets, in short a selection to know him better!

“In this playlist you will find a representation of the listings that most influenced me in the realization of “Onde”, my first album. Good listening.”
