Today we talk about Elen Winata, talented young illustrator guilty according to her bio of stalking too many cats, drinking too much tea and drawing too often.

After graduating in Graphic Design from the Art Institute in New York, she started working as Jr. Art Director at a local design house in Singapore, Kinetic. She later worked as Art Director at Tribal Worldwide. She is currently still in Singapore and working as a freelancer.

Actually by her own admission she dreamed of becoming an astronaut, but fortunately, we add, she dedicated herself entirely and with great results to illustration.

Her works are known for their clean lines and vibrant colors, which are held together by simple ideas that stimulate thought and steal the attention of those who look at them.

Her delicate line distinguishes her from everything else, she has no recurring characters or subjects, she is simply inspired by what surrounds her every day.

From women to animals to objects, get carried away by her vibrant illustrations, so delicate that they don’t even seem real.
