What does the future city look like?
This is the question that all participants of the Dutch Design Week were asked to answer.
The Dutch architecture studio MVRDV creates the Wego project, a completely colored building that, for the assembly of floors and rooms, resembles a building of the Tetris game.
What they have focused on are the concepts of minimalism and flexibility, both of which are designed to resolve the changes that will take place in the future: diminishing resources, population growth and climate change.
Through the game and other tools, Wego explores participatory design processes to achieve the most equitable possible response to human desires.
The installation shows nine urban dwellings, each with its own personality, in a single possible configuration.
