It’s called Willmott’s Ghost, the restaurant that was opened inside The Spheres, headquarters of Amazon in Seattle. It is one of three spaces open to the public inside the building and was designed by Heliotrope Architects, interior designer Price Erickson,
The restaurant owes its name to the cardoon flower baptized in honor of the Victorian horticulturist Ellen Ann Willmott and looks like a glass-enclosed structure on the outside, elegant and pastel-colored inside that can accommodate up to fifty guests.
The main dish that goes to make up the menu is Italian pizza, accompanied by some matching cocktails, despite the inclusion of a wood oven has proved difficult within the boundaries of the structure. The ball chandeliers were designed by the NBBJ architecture firm, which provides sophisticated workspaces for Amazon employees.
