At this time, especially with the uninterrupted use of mobile phones and as a result of the social and the advent of Christmas, we are filled daily with advertising messages. On a normal day a normal person receives more than 5000 promotional requests or is invaded by everything that is branded. The consequence is that our brain, being overburdened with content, only assimilates the messages that it considers most impactful.
For this reason, to stand out from the crowd, White Christmas was created, outdoor advertising created by Wunder, an independent Canadian creative agency that bought advertising space for $10,000 and filled it with totally white posters. The campaign offers a kind of respite from all the advertisements that are launched during this period. These ads have been placed in front of bus stops, on the subway, in newspapers, on social media and even on the radio. For the realization of the radio commercial, it was thought of as a long break preceded by a few seconds of explanation of the idea.
White Christmas goes against the grain of all the Holidays campaigns that all the brands offer at the moment, wanting to convey the message of how important it is to take a break from the ads during the winter holidays and especially to break away from the concept of consumerism that unites most, inviting people, implicitly, to enjoy Christmas and relatives.
