Xhosa Fray-Chinn is a Brooklyn-based photographer and filmmaker who describes his work as something sensory. His light, dreamy, nostalgic aesthetic is a pretext for making the audience empathize with the stories he tells and bring the viewer into his shoes.

Xhosa Fray-Chinn has collaborated with clients such as VOGUE ITALIA, Reebok, Mary Young, Soulmatter, Elsewhere, Laugh.Events and MiCasa, but in the past year he has managed to deepen his style and poetics even more.

The current events have definitely affected my photography. Recently, I’ve been creating a lot from emotion and using everything going on, not only social injustices but the pandemic and other world issues to fuel my work. Creating this way allows me to quickly find inspo and work without too much thinking and more doing”.
