Once again we have involved the French design and paper art studio Zim&Zou, formed by Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann, this time to reinterpret the iconic Yellow Boot and Timberland‘s DYO customization service.
The French creative couple’s work is detailed and dreamy and catapults us into an autumn atmosphere, full of warm colours and nice elements that tell us about an adventure in the woods.
Here’s how Lucie and Thibault told us about their work:
“For this new collaborations we wanted to feel the strength of the Iconic Yellow boot, and also its connection to Nature by representing an outdoor activity. Paper is offering a wide color palette, that’s why we used a monochrome composition of oranges to illustrate the infinity of shades automne gives us. Due to its ephemerality paper also reminds us the falling leaves and cycle of Nature. The tree stump is acting like a natural pedestal to highlight the shoes. All the paper used here were recycled.”
