Jola Bańkowska is an illustrator, director, and animator who lives and works in London. All her projects are characterized by a strong use of color, contrasts and shadows are marked, making the final strong impact. One of her latest works blends all her skills: “A Week In Tokyo“, in fact, is a short illustrated video that accompanies the viewer to the discovery of the Japanese capital.

From the creation of origami to the fish market, from sushi to ramen restaurants, to go from sumo to sauna, making a short stop in the overcrowded subways.

Jola has created “A Week In Tokyo” for Culture Trip, a startup that offers news and information on tourist destinations through different media and in different forms. It is not a common travel site, you can find testimonials, photo books, and artworks, just like that of Jola Bańkowska.
