All for the Gram – Album Receipts

As soon as we discovered the Instagram profile Album Receipts we went crazy, so we couldn’t help but mention it in this week’s All for the Gram

Album Receipts is the brainchild of Melody You, a young graphic designer with a passion for music, who started the project during last year’s lockdown to fill up her time. The first post was made on 8 May 2020 and since then the success of Album Receipts has been exponential.

The idea is as simple as it is brilliant: the tracklists of some of the most famous albums, from Whitney Huston’s timeless ‘Whitney‘ to the more contemporary ‘Magdalene‘ by FKA twigs, have been turned into simple receipts. In addition, tracklists with film songs were also in the sights of the young graphic designer, who gave her followers receipts with the soundtracks of “Call me by your name“, “La La Land” and many other masterpieces.

The people of Instagram immediately liked the Album Receipts, but that’s not all: artists and singers also liked Melody You’s graphics and started reposting her work.

In less than a year the profile has reached 149,000 followers and doesn’t seem to want to stop, so follow it and discover below some of the graphics we liked the most!
