With this project, born from a dream cultivated for years, Mihaylova transforms Iceland’s natural wonders into a stage to portray the deep and inescapable bond between humanity and our planet. Together with model Irina Lozovaya, the photographer traveled for days, sleeping only a few hours each night, always in search of the most extraordinary places. The result is a series of powerful shots that tell a forgotten truth: we are part of nature, and thus, every destructive act against it ultimately falls upon us.
Each image is designed to remind us of how much we depend on the life of other living beings, highlighting the beauty of nature’s diversity, which also reflects our own.
