“My photos are Candies. Eat them One at time.”.

Describing the photographs as candies, suggesting to eat them carefully and individually, explains well the taste and the microcosms enclosed in each photograph of Andrea Tomas Prato. The eroticism of the photos is in the gestures and in the nonchalance of the movements of the women portrayed, in the lightness with which they fill the rooms of houses illuminated by natural light. Andrea Tomas Prato’s shots are a search for uniqueness, for the photo as an atom, a particle that crystallizes the consolation of everyday life. The poses as if no one was really watching that scene, while the camera leaves no escape from the marks of clothes on the skin and the folds of the bed. Candy is accepted from strangers.
