Apple at Work – The Underdogs, working is easier if you use Apple

Apple at Work – The Underdogs, working is easier if you use Apple

Whether you’re working in a small or large company, a boss or a newcomer, Apple devices will make your life easier. In the new American company spot, Apple at Work – The Underdogs, a team of four employees find themselves having to present a project to their boss in just two days. The mission seems almost impossible, but in their help, there are all the devices and services that Apple has to offer, from iPad Pro to iPhone, from AirDrop to Siri, and much more.

As well as seeing how technology is used, it’s fun to follow the evolution of their idea from theory to practice. In fact, the team is working on the design and manufacture of a round pizza carton. Same cardboard that is actually used inside the cafeteria of Caffé Macs for Apple employees in Cupertino.

“Apple products help employees work more simply and productively, solve problems creatively, and collaborate with a shared purpose. And they’re all designed to work together beautifully. When people have the power to work the way they want, with the tools they love, they can do their best work and change the future of their business.”

The poetic hyperrealism of Darian Mederos

The poetic hyperrealism of Darian Mederos

Claudia Fuggetti · 8 months ago · Art

Born in Cuba in 1992, Darian Mederos began painting portraits from the very beginning, becoming famous for his hyperrealistic style and rich in detail. Looking through something is one of the many fetishes that every artist has, using an obstacle makes the vision more intriguing and less obvious: that’s why Darian has created a series of works that use the expedient of sheets of bubble wrap.

The contrast between the detailed hyperrealism and the visual approximation of the “blurred” that hides under the plastic bubbles, make Darian’s works unique and ask us several questions including:

What does it mean to look through?

Darian teaches us to grasp the true essence of things, without them manifesting themselves openly before us.

Joaquin Phoenix is Joker, watch the trailer now!

Joaquin Phoenix is Joker, watch the trailer now!

Claudia Fuggetti · 8 months ago · Art

There we go, Joker is back and the actor Joaquin Phoenix will play his role. The diabolical clown of the crime will be represented in a very dark key, by what the rumors related to the CinemaCon of Las Vegas have left to leak.

One of the key scenes in the trailer is when the character from Phoenix talks to his psychotherapist and starts out like this: “my mother always tells me to smile and have a cheerful expression”. This makes us understand the key to reading the movie, which focuses on the psychology of the character: this Joker is different from all the others.

It’s not going to be easy to compare with the masterful interpretations brought to the big screen by Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Jared Leto, but the film promises to be a great success.

Don’t miss the trailer below:

Akira: the synopsis for the live-action movie

Akira: the synopsis for the live-action movie

Claudia Fuggetti · 8 months ago · Art

The synopsis of the live-action movie dedicated to the manga Akira has just been released. The film, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Taika Waititi, is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Katsuhiro Otama, set in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo of 2060.

The live-action movie produced by Leonardo DiCaprio sees the story move from the East to a reconstructed New Manhattan, where the head of a biker gang saves his friend from a medical experiment.

Here’s the synopsis that came out of Production Weekly:

“When a young man’s telekinesis is discovered by the military, he is taken in to be turned into a super weapon and his brother must race to save him before Manhattan is destroyed by his powers. Kaneda is a bar owner in Neo-Manhattan who is stunned when his brother Tetsuo is abducted by Government agents lead by the Colonel. Desperate to get his brother back, Kaneda agrees to join Ky Reed and her underground movement who are intent on revealing to the world what truly happened to New York City 30 years ago when it was destroyed. Kaneda believes their theories to be ludicrous, but after facing his brother again is shocked when he displays telekinetic powers. Ky believes Tetsuo is headed to release a young boy. Akira, who has taken control of Tetsuo’s mind, Kaneda clashes with the Colonel’s troops on his way to stop Tetsuo from releasing Akira, but arrives too late. Akira soon emerges from his prison courtesy of Tetsuo as Kaneda races to save his brother before Akira once again destroys Manhattan island as he did thirty years ago”.

The surreal and psychedelic universe by Alex Gamsu Jenkins

The surreal and psychedelic universe by Alex Gamsu Jenkins

Claudia Fuggetti · 8 months ago · Art

Alex Gamsu Jenkins is an English illustrator who is very reminiscent of the Italian Gianluca Lerici, aka Prof. Bad Trip, both for his stylistic trait and for the psychedelic colors he uses inside his creations.

Ed And it is the madness that conquers, intrigues and strikes the viewer straight at the heart, who at times feels almost distracted by these figures. The subconscious takes shape and becomes, through a sort of metamorphosis, a strange mutant creature that transmits the anxieties of the human being, as if it were part of a delirious trip in the style of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

You have to indulge in madness in art, not limit it, because if Alex were like everyone else he wouldn’t be so interesting.
