Despite the current lockdown, Saype, the stage name of French artist Guillaume Legros, has managed to create a monumental work on a grassy slope in Switzerland, near his home. The artwork, which takes the title Beyond Crisis, is a hopeful message to the whole world. Made directly on the grass with biodegradable paint, as always prepared by Saype himself, Beyond Crisis covers an area of about 3,000 square meters and represents a kneeling little girl who is part of a circle of stylized men drawn with chalk.
Through this work, Saype invites us to look beyond the crisis, although each of us is affected by different problems arising from our current condition, and doing so also gives us a chance to take a breath of air. In fact, the best way to enjoy Beyond Crisis in its entirety is from above, a view that also allows us to enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains.
Once again Saype arrives on time with a perfect work, linked to current events, but with a positive message.
