British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith today released a new single entitled “By any means”.
A few months after the last single “Rouse Rouge”, she returns with a song inspired by the recent protests of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“By Any Means” will be part of a compilation created by Roc Nation, the agency founded by Jay-Z.
It will be called Reprise and will include many other songs, focused on social justice themes, by famous artists that at the moment have not yet been unveiled.

The proceeds will be donated to organizations (the Gathering for JusticeNACDL Foundation for Criminal JusticeEqual Justice Initiative MissionCop Accountability Project) that support victims of police violence, hate crimes and other civil rights violations.

“By Any Means” was written with Ezrah Roberts-Grey, it talks about the pain, death and lies that led to the protests of recent months, but also about the strength found thanks to the Black Lives Matter movement.
