For a few years the censorship adopted by Social Networks has put a strain on any type of NSFW publication so that even magazines like Playboy have been forced to make important changes to the world’s most famous osé covers.

But if for the photos of common Instagrammers, a doodle is enough to cover nipples or other private parts, photographers, magazines and artists are obliged to find more ingenious solutions in order not to ruin their own works.
This is the case of a Thai retro erotica magazine that, after having taken possession of some images of the collector and visual artist Tiane Doan Na Champassak, has thought of hiding the nudity of photographs with a myriad of motifs, symbols and shapes, to help follow the censorship laws. Everything from the Ace of Spades, to bird silhouettes, to draw on flowers, all artistically covering up what should actually be allowed to be shown.

The result was so beautiful that it is now contained in Censored, one of the many books edited by Champassak.
