Called “Château-Scope” is the latest project of the architecture and design studio LMTLS.
The young architects won the tender to design a beautiful and modern tree house next to Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers in France, offering an unparalleled view of the historic castle.
A different invitation to tender that has seen many architects challenge each other to build something unique, a dream accommodation at the top of the trees.
“This invitation goes beyond mere architectural practice. It is actually an inner experience. This competition invites architects to rediscover through the folds of memory the moments they spent imagining what their refuge would be like”.

So the architects of LMTLS have created a house divided into two modules, with a design that manages to blend in everything and everything with nature.
The sloping roof and its arched openings seem to frame the castle just a few meters away. The architects have managed to create a unique view that makes the castle look like a work of art rather than a typical window view. It has been called the “snow globe effect” due to the unique perspective offered by the architectural ingenuity.
Château-Scope is a dream place that makes us a little bit like children again, a perfect refuge where we can look at the stars with the magical 13th century castle next to it.
