Wet streets and neon lights characterize the spectral Chinatown of the series by the French photographer Ludwig Favre Chinatown New York, Rainy Day.

You have never seen a New York like this. The French Ludwig Favre’s series Chinatown New York, Rainy Day shows a hidden side of the Chinese neighborhood of the Big Apple.

On a trip to America, the morning before leaving, Favre awoke at dawn to take pictures of the deserted streets, not yet illuminated by the sun. Shooting with his Lumix G9 he managed to create extraordinary effects, playing with the wet streets and the reflections of the neon lights and showing a different side of Chinatown.

My last day in New York, early morning I took my flight the same evening for Paris, I went out early in the morning to go take a cafe, my Lumix G9 in hand I let myself carried away by the colors of the lights that reflected the rain”.
