Colin Chillag is an artist who has chosen to focus his research on the concept of evolution: it is particularly difficult to be able to represent something that changes on a static platform, such as the canvas of a painting. In the perfect balance between realism and abstraction, his creations are scenes on the whole characterized by a global sense of incompleteness.
To make real this idea Colin uses a mixed technique: detailed and realistic areas are downplayed by sketches and doodles. With painting, he tries to stand out from the photographic language, whose realism is unsurpassed. He tries to immerse the viewer in his fantastic dimension.
The incompleteness of the scenes is a pretext to encourage and stimulate the creativity of those who admire and complete them with their imagination and their own experience. Because every moment is fleeting and constantly evolving.
