Daniele Sigalot, a contemporary artist born in Rome, staged the exhibition “Tutto è già vostro” in the Royal Palace of Caserta, which has embraced 7 rooms of the royal palace that was inhabited by the Bourbons.
Sigalot, which has his roots in the sculptural exploration of space, time and material, has filled the seven rooms of the eighteenth-century palace with objects capable of representing an artistic continuum between past and present.

The room that attracted the greatest attention was the one the artist wanted to dedicate to modern archaeological excavations.
The site-specific installation sees a series of coloured capsules, red, blue and gold like the decorations of the room, covering the entire floor, transforming the Bourbon house into an artistic continuum between old and new.

The ambiguity between the materiality of the capsules and their actual nature confuses the boundary between past and present and allows the artist to investigate the possible evolution of historical spaces.
