The design studio Lennarts & De Bruijn together with the agency Overdeschreef have launched a special call for artists and designers for the city of Breda.
The intention is to create posters with a clear COVID-19 theme that invite people to respect the rules to overcome this bad period.
Many of the posters made have been pasted on the streets of Breda, the Dutch city with the highest number of infections in the country.

“The world yearns for inventive and creative manifestations. Graphic designers have the tools and skills to transform these important messages into images of great visual impact. We contribute by covering Breda with these positive posters. With this project, we are transforming the entire city into a huge public service announcement. If we all stick to these measures, everything will be fine.

So far, over a thousand designers from 73 countries have created posters for the project, a different way to remember that staying indoors is essential to avoid further infection.
Participating is free and open to everyone, just go to the site created specifically for the occasion and create the poster with the right claim.

Stay safe, take care of each other, keep your distance, call your grandparents. These are all comments that we often hear lately and that some designers have decided to report on their work, creatively reinforcing the concept, not only for Breda, but for the whole world.
