That season of outdoor aperitifs, long bike rides at night and live music around the city has begun again. Among the first events, last Thursday at the Dr. Martens store in Via Torino, Milan, the young Bolognese singer Ibisco premiered his new single “Darkamore.”
Ibisco, born Filippo Giglio, is one of the most promising artists in the Italian underground and has been supported since the beginning of his career by Dr. Martens through “Project Together“. The initiative was born on the occasion of the first edition of Dr. Martens’ Tough As You Fest, which last October brought the audience back to dance at Magnolia in what was the first standing concert in a long time.
The project was created in collaboration with none other than MI AMI, one of Italy’s most important music festivals, the starting point of the careers of artists such as Thegiornalisti, Coez, Frah Quintale, Mahmood and many others.
The evening at the Milan flagship store in the company of Ibisco was an opportunity for Dr. Martens to once again emphasize the importance for the brand to support young creative talents and all those people who express their being through music. It was also the perfect time to renew the link with MI AMI, which will return on May 27, 28 and 29 to rock the entire Magnolia.
