The combination of comic actress Ella and street artist Pitr is really bizarre and takes its name from Ella & Pitr. In 2007, the couple from Saint-Etienne decided to start an artistic collaboration focused on urban art projects.

The distinctive feature of Ella & Pitr is its ability to create huge, colossal murals with a strong visual impact; these works are so large and extensive that they can only be seen in their entirety from above. But how is this possible?

The duo uses the roofs of the houses, which they transform into three-dimensional canvases. Drones, helicopter pilots and all those who are beyond the barrier of infrastructure, will be able to see clearly their creations. The irony of Ella is poured into the style of representation of the characters, who are not just any subjects, but real giants.

The aim of this artistic operation is to re-evaluate underestimated and unusual spaces such as roofs and other infrastructures.
