Disconcerting and beautiful, unconventional and pink, are the works signed by Oliver Latta, known by his 694 thousand followers of Instagram as extraweg.
Oliver was born and raised in Kotten, Germany, and studied design at the Bauhaus University in Dessau where, in addition to fueling his passion for photography and video, he discovered the immense world of digital art, especially 3D. He started experimenting, but the real professional turning point came when he decided to share his work on Instagram. After some time, a few tens of thousands of followers and having officially adopted the stage name extraweg, Oliver went from graphic designer to art director of his extraweg Creative Studio.
At first glance his 3D all-pink graphics seem ethereal, but the color is just an aesthetic choice. Then, once the video starts, it loses all this magic and transports us into a disturbing, disconcerting and provocative imaginary, also because many times his works are linked to current themes.
