Favola is the new film directed by Sebastiano Mauri with the great Filippo Timi in the leading role. This movie is an adaptation of the same name theatrical piece written and directed by Timi himself. The story is set in a 1950s fictitious American province where a peculiar housewife interpreted by the Italian actor decides to approach life in her own style. Favola is, in fact, a dramatic comedy about LGBT rights. The result is, however, a funny extravagant comedy preserving its educational function while maintaining interest on the audience’s part.
Another important aspect of the movie is Alessia Anfuso’s extraordinary design of the colorful house where the movie is set.
Favola will be released on Italian screens between the 25th to 27th June, its produced by Rai Cinema and distributed by Nexo.
