Guillaume Legros aka Saype (from Say peace) was born in Belfort, France, lived in Moutier and now in Bulle, Switzerland, and, since 2015, has become so internationally known that the magazine Forbes included him among the 30 most influential young people in the field of art and culture in 2019.

In just a few years, the young Franco-Swiss artist has climbed to the top of the art scene and is considered one of the most influential artists of recent years. Guillaume Legros himself defines himself as a hybrid between an artist dedicated to street art and Land art, with his motto “From Street to Land”.

And just in these days Saype has completed his latest work “Un grand Homme et l’Avenir II”, made with biodegradable paints based on natural pigments, the artwork will fade as the grass grows, questioning our relationship with nature.

A painting on grass, 128 metres high and 36 metres wide, covering an area of almost 4,500 m2. It depicts a grandfather and a granddaughter fishing at the Senator’s lake, an artwork that he hopes will be an inspiration for future generations.
