For over ten years, Mexican artist Gabriel Dawe has been creating site-specific installations made of wire and with rainbow-like colors.

These installations are also linked to the human need for shelter and the extreme vulnerability of man”.

Nails, colored threads and geometric weaves: these are the ingredients that Gabriel Dawe uses to create installations that look like beams of refracted light.

His works are made up of thousands of polyester filaments sewn from the floor to the ceiling, to recreate a spectrum of light broken down into 15 colors.

The vivid colors of his site-specific installations alter according to the angle from which they are observed, and dissolve into each other, creating optical illusions due to the play of perception and depth.

The installation can be transported anywhere and delight every type of connoisseur; from the theater to an art exhibition, the rainbow is never too much.
