Hama-House is a Japanese illustrator who experiments with various techniques of illustration and tells stories of all kinds, drawing emotions inspired by what is in front of him. He lives in Kamakura and has been active in illustration for over 15 years. At first he approached the world of animation working for a production company as a designer and director, then became an independent artist designing for magazines, television and many other projects.

His works tell daily stories and portray a wide range of characters imagined by the illustrator. There are women, men and fantastic characters engaged in a daily suspended between fantasy and reality. The peculiarity of Hama House is to shape the reality that surrounds it through various techniques of illustration. From sketches to chigiri-e, a Japanese technique where colored paper is used as a backdrop.
