It is a project of a few years ago, that of the House Of The Infinite, the house on the wise of Cadiz designed by the architect Alberto Campo Baeza. It is more than just a house by the sea, it is a monument to all that was there before and, above all, to the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean that stands in front of it. 

House Of The Infinite is an enormous parallelepiped (20m x 36m) of travertine, a tribute to the ancient Romans who lived in this area and of whom, sometimes there are remains and traces, which was built by digging directly into the rock. 

The house consists of three levels, the first two are closed floors that house the living area and the sleeping area, both with large windows overlooking the beach, thanks to which the natural light can be used to the full. 

But it is the third level to have consecrated House Of The Infinite the most daring project of the architect and his studio. I’m talking about the terrace, the very surface of the house, which dominates the entire structure and extends almost infinitely towards the ocean. The terrace is closed on the back side, so as to protect from strong winds coming from the inside, while it is totally without railings or protections on the front. 

The entire house, which blends in with the colours of the beach, was designed as a minimal, bare wharf connecting the land and the sea.
