Vincent Leroy’s latest spectacular and controversial installation is called “illusion leans” and is located exactly at the heliport of Mori Tower in Tokyo.
Leroy, heir to French kineticism, realizes artwork that involve the whole surrounding envoronment, has made himself known in the world of international art for his sculptures in movement.

The artist who breaks every rhythm and slowly involves those who look within his personal dimension, having fragmented the twentieth-century architecture of Paris, returns to Japan again.
About a month ago in Kyoto, he was able to transform the Gion district into a dreamlike universe, creating with his blurred lenses an enigmatic and irreverent game of perspectives, also supported by the audio effects of Adorable studio.
For the installation, Leroy used Fresnel lenses, that allow the construction without the bulk, thickness, and weight of the material needed to build a conventional spherical lens of equivalent dioptric power.
Due to the fragmentation, it introduces in the images, the Fresnel lens is used where it is important to reduce the weight of the object even at the expense of optimal image quality.
As in his latest works, Vicent Leroy is able to gently transport you from reality into a dream, made of images that reflect the Tokyo skyline in a loop.
As he himself wishes, far away from the noise and chaos but instead close to the clouds and the environment, with the intent as in previous installations to involve those who look at the work within the universe of the artist, in search of their own internal harmony divided by its lenses.
