La cultura pop italiana nelle illustrazioni di Filippo Fontana | Collater.al 1

It will not be difficult for each of you to recognize, in the Filippo Fontana illustrations, pieces of your childhood, your daily life and yours, sometimes bitter, laught.
Void, this is the name of the project that explores the pop elements of Italian culture, is the set of 5 tables divided by category that represents everything we love/hate about our everyday life.

From the trash programs that punctuate our TV schedule, to the toys that have made our era, from the grotesque characters born on the web, to the sports idols that have made history also for their habits until to a rather realistic caricatures of our politicians.
Thus characters such as Gabibbo, the wrestlers and the Bratz, Gianluca Vacchi, the Dark Polo Gang, Salvini in his bulldozer and Bersani, who stains a cheetah, Donnarumma, wit his super salary and Alex Schwazer, become symbols of the poor wealth of our country.

Using an illustration style reminiscent of Kyle Platts and Simon Landrein, he represents in an ironic and pungent way everything that is very familiar to us, whether we like it or not.
