Irony and black humor in Ji’s illustrations

Ji, who on Instagram you find as @whosji, is the perfect example of how well-made art does not need explanations and, even, not even the artist who creates it needs presentations.

In fact, about @whosji we know very little, but the more you scroll through his profile, the less you will be interested. However, I warn you, if you don’t have a sense of humour and you almost never understand if something is ironic or not, his illustrations are not for you. Fortunately, the artist immediately makes it clear in his bio:

“This profile contains dark humor illustrations and disturbing cartoons.”

Although his style is reminiscent of that of more classic cartoons, with few well-balanced elements and a use of bright and vivid colors, in the end, his illustrations always reveal a macabre aspect that often has to do with death or tragic events.

Have fun!
