Kith has announced a partnership with the Brooklyn Museum to coincide with Black History Month and the 5th anniversary of the brand’s Artist Series. Art, culture, and community come together in this collaboration, which aims to highlight extraordinary talents and foster meaningful conversations.

This week’s Monday Program offers a preview of the partnership with an exclusive piece: in collaboration with the Brooklyn Museum, Kith has reimagined its Wool Varsity Jacket. Made with 900 GSM double-layer virgin wool and finished with a satin inner lining, the jacket combines aesthetics and craftsmanship. This version features custom embroidery depicting the museum’s exterior on the back, while the front showcases co-branding between Kith and the Brooklyn Museum.

The partnership launches with a special event, First Saturday: Toward Joy, scheduled for February 1. The highlight of the event is the Black History Month Artist Series Roundtable, moderated by Kith’s Director of Special Projects and Collaborations, Marlon Beck II. The roundtable will feature this year’s artists: Alvin Armstrong, Marcus Troy, and Penda Diakité.

To celebrate five years of Kith’s Artist Series, a special exhibition will showcase artworks created throughout the project. The exhibition will be on display throughout February at the Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion, offering visitors an immersive journey through the creative evolution of this series.
