Lamar Spring Spatial Dynamics is the project created by Hannah Latham, a young student from the Rhode Island School of Design. For this project, Hannah was inspired by Gaudì’s Sagrada Familia.
The shapes are the original ones, the columns branch off like trees, the ceilings decorated with floral motifs and the large windows. What changes is style? The classic another color, which makes Gaudì’s masterpiece look like a sand castle, became pure white that creates a fantastic contrast with the windows that go from green to red to blue.
A project that revisits a classic in a contemporary key, without, however, profaning it.
