Light, sound, body. These are the three coordinates guiding Lumina, the new series by Le Cannibale, set to launch in May inside Voce, the new venue at Triennale Milano dedicated to exploring sound as a living material. More than just a calendar of events, it’s an experiential lab—a true contemporary ritual that transforms clubbing into an artistic gesture.
Kicking off this exploration on Friday, May 24th, will be a unique sonic constellation: Vladimir Ivkovic, a legendary figure in the European underground scene, and Hiroko Hacci, a Japanese artist with a rarefied and hypnotic aesthetic. Together, they will lead the audience on a journey that goes beyond the dancefloor, where electronic music becomes a visionary language and an aesthetic reflection.

With Lumina, Le Cannibale and Triennale Milano renew a synergy that has long intertwined musical research and visual culture. The result is a temporary club space that merges sonic experimentation with performative dimensions, turning the night into a territory of artistic possibility. The club becomes a cultural device—a space for listening and movement, a crossroads of imaginaries, generations, and creative tensions.
The music selection aims to chart new trajectories of contemporary electronic music, oscillating between introspection and collective trance. Ivkovic, with his emotional and unpredictable sets shaped by his experience at Salon des Amateurs, will bring to Triennale a layered sonic narrative, made up of oblique fragments and sudden shifts. Hacci, on the other hand, will craft a sonic ritual blending ritualistic suggestions, rarefied ambient sounds, and an aesthetic sensibility deeply rooted in her Eastern heritage.
Lumina is not just music: it’s an immersive experience, a formal exploration, a desire to rewrite the codes of clubbing as a cultural act. It’s an invitation to let go of the familiar and be illuminated by the light of sound.
