Lidia Cao is a talented Spanish artist, born in Ordes, in northern Galicia, who currently lives and works in Santiago de Compostela. On several occasions she has told how her passion was born and what drove her to approach the street world:

“Since I was a child I have seen many artists painting walls and many empty spaces in my hometown: I immediately fell in love with this form of expression”.

Lidia is a self-taught artist and has never attended a drawing course in her life, she has always followed her instinct and her natural predisposition towards art and the world of creativity. The interesting aspect of his works is that almost all the subjects he loves to represent are women. Delicate, decisive, sweet and determined: Lidia’s heroines are very different from each other and express varied femininity, accompanied by a sense of loneliness that serves as a background.

Her great ability to express emotions can be summed up in her approach to life itself:

“Finally, I would say that everything I experience in my daily life inspires me. My emotions, my travels and all the people who cross my path are sources of inspiration in my work.
