Liquida Photofestival Returns to Turin for Its Third Edition
Once again, this year brings back the Liquida Photofestival to Turin. In its third edition and still under the direction of Laura Tota, the festival will take place from May 2nd to May 5th in the spaces of the Cavallerizza Complex, the historic location of Paratissima that has been hosting Liquida under its umbrella for three years. As always, the festival’s intention is to give voice to emerging talents in the field of contemporary photography, primarily showcased in the Exhibition section. Additionally, there will be the One Shot collective exhibition featuring a selection of ten shots from ten established photographers, which we will unveil below. In addition to the two main exhibitions, three other projects, winners of the Full Project, ArtPhilein, and ImageNation awards, are also presented. Everything is framed within this year’s theme, “Rebirth,” which invites artists and spectators to consider their existence as a second chance.
A space of possibilities
Liquida Photofestival delves into the countless potential variations that life can offer, transcending the expectations imposed by societal norms. «Redefining oneself, reinventing, repositioning within the dynamics of society and our relationship with ourselves» – emphasizes Laura Tota, the artistic director of the festival – «REBIRTH outlines the space of possibilities that every day we can and must choose to become conscious entities in our journey.»
