Marquisate is a design brand born from a subtle interplay between respect and irreverence, looking to nobility only to dismantle it intelligently and reassemble it through glass. The name references the title of marquis, but the approach is anything but rigid: here, the tradition of glassblowing meets a pop, almost punk attitude that transforms artisanal heritage into a contemporary collectible object. Each piece is handmade in Istanbul by master glassmakers, keeping centuries-old knowledge alive while pushing it toward new formal and chromatic possibilities.

Behind the concept of Marquisate are Çağkan Paça and Güler Keresteci, two figures with different backgrounds united by a deep fascination with glass as a complex, fluid, and emotional material. Their vision is not to create simple decorative objects, but to shape sculptures capable of establishing a relationship with the viewer—pieces that live through color, gesture, and irony, without ever losing precision or artisanal quality.

Among the most representative objects stands out the Space Jam Egg, a limited-edition sculpture that seems to bend both light and the gaze of those who encounter it.

The metallic glass shifts in tone depending on the angle, returning iridescent reflections that evoke the idea of a cosmic object, suspended between magic and symbolic power. The spiral motif wrapping the egg recalls the movement of planets—an orbital dance that turns form into a visual narrative.

Space Jam Egg does not simply occupy space: it alters it, charging it with imagination and carrying a sense of wonder that goes beyond the concept of functional design.
