Louis Dazy is a French photographer, based in Melbourne, who began capturing night scenes because of his need to create something that was not subject to design constraints.

His photographs are dark poems, melancholic and at the same time oneiric.
He traps young faces, full of glances, in the neon lights of the clubs and streets they frequent, or where they get lost.
His images are spontaneous, all come from his sensation or from a momentary emotion.
His series Neon Life, now in its third chapter, is strongly cinematographic and tells stories that remain suspended in the eyes of those who are writing it, they are intriguing, sometimes sensual and sometimes simple.
They leave a sense of reality lived through a normal moment that stops hiding poetry.
