Waking up is a delicate moment for everyone. Some people use their phone alarms, while others prefer bedside clocks. So we discovered Alarmo, Nintendo‘s new interactive alarm clock designed to make waking up fun. This circular-shaped clock, featuring the classic Nintendo red, is equipped with motion sensors. Let’s see how they work.

How Nintendo’s Alarmo works
With a simple gesture, you can snooze the alarm, and by getting out of bed, you can turn it off completely. Alarmo uses sounds from beloved Nintendo games like The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario to wake users up gradually. The sounds start softly but increase in intensity if the alarm keeps ringing. Additionally, the display shows characters from the game chosen by the user, adding a personalized touch to the wake-up experience.

The longer you stay in bed, the more the alarm’s intensity grows. Besides waking you up, Alarmo can also track your movements during sleep, and it can be programmed to require pressing a button to stop the alarm, as an alternative to using the motion sensors.
