Henry Hargreaves is a self-taught photographer who grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand, where, before starting his career in photography, has always worked in the food industry.

What has always fascinated him about his first job is the ability to understand people thanks to the food, in his opinion in fact, what we eat does not just reflect our tastes but also our character.
With the No Seconds project he wanted to bring his idea back to a much more delicate field where food is also the protagonist.

No Seconds, in fact, is a series of photographs taken at the last meals of prisoners sentenced to death born to personalize them, to tell them regardless of the crime they committed, to identify with them through a common denominator as it may be the food.
