Among the things that I would not have expected, I must necessarily include the latest surprising collaboration of the New York brand Noah with one of the most famous comic book characters of all time, Popeye

Created by Elzie Crisler Segar, Popeye made his debut on January 17, 1929 in the comic strip Thimble Theatre.
The success of Segar’s character will arrive in 1933 thanks to a series of animated shorts entitled Popeye the Sailor, which will be a huge success right from the start, keeping intact a legacy that continues to this day.
A transversal character if ever there was one, Popeye has been the protagonist over the years of comic books, advertising, video games and even stamps to end up in a collaboration with one of the coolest & stylish brands of the entire streetwear scene together with Aimé Leon Dore and Kith.

The inspiration behind this latest Noah collaboration comes directly from the influence of the sea and boating in general, which have been part of the brand’s narrative since its founding.
A celebration of the character of Popeye declined through a capsule collection consisting of clothing and accessories.

What immediately jumps to the eye is the continuation of the collaboration with Barbour, in fact the highlight of the collection is the classic Barbour Bedale in white, green or navy blue characterized by a large image of Popeye on the back.

The capsule also includes a work pant, a striped long sleeve classic of the sailing world and a T-shirt with images of Popeye and Olivia, his historical girlfriend.
There are also accessories such as, a towel, a clam knife, a keychain, a cap, a pillow and much more.

Noah’s collection in collaboration with Elzie Crisler Segar’s character Popeye will be released on March 24
