The Pablo Picasso paintings in the 3D sculptures by Omar Aqil
Omar Aqil, a Pakistani artist, has recreated 6 paintings by Pablo Picasso in 3D giving them a new perspective and a new way of interacting with the public.
With the imagination you can do anything, or nearly.
Surely, however, you can reproduce the paintings of Pablo Picasso in 3D.
The Pakistani artist Omar Aqil, in fact, has replicated 6 works of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, giving them a new perspective and a new way of interacting with the public.
An expert in typography, illustration and graphic design, with its MIMIC project wanted to create new visual experiments but using only art that belongs to the past. Aqil recreated iconic masterpieces freeing them of their traditional 2D perspective and allowing them to have new physical and artistic qualities.
The choice of Picasso was not accidental as the artist said he was always inspired by the visual language of his works and he always had the desire to find a new way to interact with them.
